It’s the game that everyone in the United States is talking about. Portgual features one of the world’s most dominant players in Cristiano Ronaldo, and the U.S. hopes to continue on the positive momentum from its thrilling 2-1 victory Ghana. Key players for both teams are dealing with nagging injuries. Forward Cint Dempsey’s nose was broken by a Ghana player’s high kick during the first game, and Jozy Altidore is unavailable to due to a hamstring pull. For the U.S. to advance, they will have to overcome the heat and humidity of Manaus, slow down Ronaldo and find new sources for offensive production.
