Becoming A State College Through Successful Branding

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Space Coast chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association will feature Suzanne Sparling, APR, CPRC on Thursday, July 17 as she discusses Brevard Community College’s transition to a four-year institution.

Sparling, Executive Director of Communications at Eastern Florida State College, will speak about her role in the organization and provide an insider’s perspective on becoming a state college through successful branding.
An accredited P.R. professional, Sparking has more than 22 years of public relations, organizational communications, project management, marketing, event coordination, and media relations experience.
She’s also a longtime Space Coast FPRA member and supporter, and has served in many roles at the chapter and state level – including Chapter President and FPRA State President.
The event will begin with registration at 8 a.m. at the Dobson Center/WEFS-TV station, located at 1519 Clearlake Road, Building 13, Room 124 B, in Cocoa. The program will go 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
Cost is $20 for members, $25 for non-members and $15 for students.

PLEASE NOTE: Parking will be marked clearly. From Clearlake Road, turn onto Rosetine. Follow the signage to the student parking lot due south of the Dobson Building, Bldg. 13. The Dobson Building, Bldg. 13 will be a short walk to the north – look for the big television antenna.
