BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Gracie Dunn, senior tri-captain of the Lady Mustang golf team, shot a competitive career low 36 to lead Merritt Island to a 208-228 win over the Titusville Lady Terriers.

Titusville standout Sarah Schermer was low scorer for the Lady Terriers with a 45 during the nine-hole match at the Savannahs Golf Club on Merritt Island.

The Lady Mustangs are now 2-0, while Titusville is 0-1.

MIHS Senior Tori Scabarozi knocked five shots off of her previous score and posted a 49.

Senior Sabella Goodwin shot 53 and Hannah Harper had a 66.

For Titusville, Jenna Smith shot a 58, Anna Voll had a 62, and Jordan Smith finished with a 63.

Merritt Island has its next match at Savannahs against Edgewood Junior/Senior High School, who are led by Seniors Lauren Parker and Teresa Paniale.
