BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA — With the official start to the 2014 football season only a few weeks away, Astronaut High School football coach Randy Hallock is working with a smaller squad than the teams from the War Eagles’ proud past.
During Tuesday’s workout, coaches encouraged players to keep their teammates accountable.
Drills focused on tackling assignments and proper pre-snap positioning. Astronaut opens its season with a jamboree game at Bayside on Aug. 22, followed by games at Mt. Dora and at St. Cloud.
The War Eagle’s first home game is against Sept. 12 vs. Cocoa.
