volunteers help keep our communities safe

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – I had the honor of attending the Graduation and Swearing-In Ceremony of seven new Auxiliary Reserve Deputies for the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office:

• Stephen Barton
• Harry Butler
• Scott DeMasso
• Solen Parr
• Robert Rose
• James Rothschild
• Andrew Weiner
The new Auxiliary Deputies are each members our community that paid their own way through the seven month Academy so they could volunteer to help keep our communities safe. Auxiliary Deputies serve the agency by volunteering to work Patrol Details, Special Events, Traffic Activities and other operational needs for the agency.
Last year the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Reserve Unit worked over 18,000 hours of volunteer Law Enforcement Service to aid our agency in it’s mission of keeping Brevard County a safe place to call home.
Please join me in congratulating each of the graduates on this incredible accomplishment, and thank them for their hard work and dedication.
