Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Highlights Their Telecommunicators For Public Safety Telecommunicator Appreciation Week
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – As we recognize and celebrate this week the incredible service of our Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Telecommunicators, I wanted to take a moment to share with you the outstanding work these amazing men and women do each and every day of the year.
This team of professionals are the unsung heroes of public safety, as they serve as the life lines for our citizens, our firefighters, our law enforcement officers, and even our pets.
From receiving 911 calls from citizens in a critical time, to dispatching resources such as Deputies, Fire/Rescue, Ocean Rescue, and Animal Services to calls for service, this team saves lives every single freaking day.
There is no question that today, tomorrow, and next week, this team will save a life or at the very least have a huge impact on our community in some way.
As Sheriff, from time to time I find myself in our Unified Communication Center where I get to see firsthand the passion, dedication, and commitment these women and men exhibit as they represent our agency and community.
Even better, I get to see the pride on their faces as they know that what they are doing is one of the most important and critical jobs in our business.
I personally could not be more proud of our team members and all they do to protect our community and I ask that you join me, not only this week for Public Safety Telecommunicator Appreciation Week, but every week of the year in thanking them for the amazing job they do.
