Camargo, Juarez, Bethel Share Eastern Florida Honors

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Soccer players Briana Camargo and Farias Juarez and volleyball player Arianna Bethel are Eastern Florida State College’s Student-Athletes of the Week for the week ending Oct. 26.

Camargo, a freshman midfielder from Ocala, Florida and Trinity Catholic High, scored three goals in EFSC’s 6-0 women’s soccer victory over Broward College.

Camargo, who recovered from a mid-season foot injury, raised her goal total to eight in five games as Eastern Florida improved to 11-1 in its regular-season finale.

Farias Juarez

Juarez, a sophomore midfielder from Alajuela, Costa Rica Colegio Redentorista San Alfonso, scored two goals in Eastern Florida’s 3-1 men’s soccer victory over Broward College that lifted the Titans into the NJCAA postseason.

The goals were the eighth and ninth this season for Juarez as the Titans improved to 11-2-1.

Bethel, a sophomore right-side and outside hitter from Stuart, Florida and Martin County High, led the Titans with 11 kills in their Sophomore Night sweep of Webber International’s junior varsity.
