Melbourne Fall Art Festival Requests Donations

21ST ANNUAL EVENT set for November 7-9
BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The 21st Annual Melbourne Fall Art Festival is set for November 7-9, and it is going to be huge!
We are expecting 150 artists and vendors for the show and anticipate approximately 5,000-10,0000 people per day over the course of the show. We have marketed the event from Melbourne to Orlando and Jacksonville, to Daytona and beyond.
We are looking for local merchants, businesses and individuals to contribute to goodie bags and raffle baskets.
If you can help in any or all of the following ways, please email us at melbournemainstreet@gmail.com or call the office 321-724-1741 to arrange pick-up or drop-off of items.
You can also drop by the office, located at 1908 Municipal Lane any day next week (preferably prior to Friday) between 2 and 5 p.m. with the donations.
All items donated are tax deductible, and here is what we need:
• Goodie bag stuffers for 150 artists: We will need 150 of each item that you donate to stuff into welcome bags for our artists. Suggested items include a sample of your product (lotion, tea, cookie, etc), a coupon for a free item, a coupon with a discount, a business card, a flyer or menu. We also need 150 bags to stuff the items in, if you would like to donate the bags – that would be great.
• VIP Goodie Bag Items: We have 50 sponsors from area businesses who are VIP’s for the Fall Art Fest. We are stuffing goodie bags for all the sponsors and if you would like to showcase your product or business to 50 area VIP’s, then we would love to help spread the word. Suggested items include a shirt, mug, box of candy, bottle of lotion, bottle of wine, an item that truly showcases your business – with an attached business card, brochure or even a small gift certificate. Even if you can’t donate 50 of an item, we can spread the goodies between the bags, so any amount of any item is appreciated.
• Raffle Baskets: We are putting together two large raffle baskets to raise money for Melbourne Main Street, a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Any item would be appreciated: mugs, wine, T-shirts, gift certificates, shoes, clothing, accessories, non-perishable food items, event tickets, artwork, etc.
