Florida Tech Baseball Gears Up for Showcase Camp

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Directed by head coach Greg Berkemeier and assistant coach Matt Mercurio, the Florida Tech Panthers will be hosting a showcase camp for players between the ages of 15-18 on Saturday, Dec. 13 at Andy Seminick-Les Hall Field.
In addition to Florida Tech’s baseball coaches, the day-long camp staff will be comprised of experienced college coaches, along with former and current college players.
Attendees will be taught fundamentals and techniques of all aspects of the game, including: hitting, fielding, throwing, pitching, catching, base running, and team play. A recruiting meeting will also be held for parents.
Prospects will have the opportunity to flash their skills during live games, defensive workouts, batting practice, timed 60s and instructional segments.
Players will need to bring their own equipment, including: cleats, sneakers, bats, helmets, gloves, batting gloves, practice pants, and baseball cap. Catchers should also bring their own catchers gear.
A non-refundable fee of $125, along with the registration form, is due by Dec. 11. Space is limited. Check-in will begin at 8 a.m. on the morning of Dec. 13, with the camp starting promptly at 9 a.m.
