Motorists should allow extra travel time

Every year thousands of spectators turn out to line the parade route and welcome the holiday season.  The parade route goes from San Filippo Drive turning west on to Malabar Rd and ends at Eldron Blvd. The parade is sponsored by Health First Palm Bay Hospital and presented by the City of Palm Bay. BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The eastbound lanes of Malabar Road between San Filippo Drive and Aviation Drive will be closed on Saturday December 6 beginning at approximately 4:30 p.m., and lasting until approximately 10 p.m. to facilitate the holiday parade.

The westbound lanes of Malabar Road also between San Filippo Drive and Aviation Drive will be converted to two-way traffic beginning at the same time.

Motorists should allow extra time to travel through this area.

Alternate routes around the area include Jupiter Boulevard, Babcock Street, and Minton Road.
