ABOVE VIDEO: Every year the Palm Bay Police Department has the honor and privilege of hosting dozens of children for a special breakfast with Santa courtesy of Golden Corral followed by a Christmas shopping spree at Wal-Mart. They call it the Reindeer Run and this year the Palm Bay Police Department had 130 children who each had $75 to spend on whatever they wanted.

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA — Every year the Palm Bay Police Department has the honor and privilege of hosting dozens of children for a special breakfast with Santa courtesy of Golden Corral followed by a Christmas shopping spree at Wal-Mart.

They call it the “Reindeer Run” and this year the Palm Bay Police Department had 130 children who each had $75 to spend on whatever they wanted.

Each child is paired with a police officer who helps them shop.

The Palm Bay Police Department had help from their friends at Sebastian PD, West Melbourne PD, Melbourne Village PD the Fish and Wildlife Commission and Palm Bay Fire-Rescue.
