Cocoa Beach Police Find Hit-and-Run Vehicle

Registered Owner of Vehicle Cooperating With Investigators
BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – The Cocoa Beach Police Department received an anonymous tip that led investigators to what may be the vehicle involved in the crash.
This vehicle, a black SUV with front end damage, was located in the City of Cocoa and was towed to a secure impound facility to be processed for evidence related to the incident.
The registered owner of the vehicle in question is cooperating with investigators, but it is not yet known who was driving at the time of the crash. The victim is
currently in stable condition and is recovering in an area hospital.

12-Year Old Found In Roadway With Serious Injuries
BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – The Cocoa Beach Police responded to a hit-and-run incident at 201 Bahama Boulevard in Cocoa Beach on Wednesday night at 10:47 p.m.
According to police, a 12-year old juvenile was found in the roadway with serious injuries. The vehicle involved fled the scene and was described by witnesses as a dark colored SUV or Van type vehicle.
The hit-and-run victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
