Mark Foskey, 51, who was reported missing and endangered due to a medical condition on Saturday morning, was discovered dead near Veteran’s Park on Saturday afternoon about 4 p.m. (See map below)

According to the City of Palm Bay Public Information Coordinator Yvonne Martinez, the cause of death appears to be a self-inflicted wound.

Foskey, a former Palm Bay police officer, was a dispatcher for the City of Palm Bay.

According to the Palm Bay police alert, “Foskey may be armed and suicidal, and was last seen Thursday night around 11 p.m in the area of Scyphers St. NE.”

The incident is currently under investigation.

Palm Bay Police Seek Missing Endangered Man

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Police Department patrol officers and detectives are currently searching for Mark Foskey, 51, who is missing and believed to be endangered due to medical conditions.

According to police, Foskey may be armed and suicidal, and was last seen Thursday night around 11 p.m in the area of Scyphers St. NE.

Foskey is a white male, 6-foot-3 inches tall, approximately 200 pounds, with brown hair, blue eyes and a full beard.

He is believed to be driving a bright red 2005 4-door Dodge Dakota with a red topper with Florida tag number 031-WNC. There is a decal of a sea turtle on the back window.

Statewide bulletins have been issued and anyone with information should contact the Palm Bay Police Department at 321-952-3539.
