Coach Ron Hunter Ruptures Achilles Celebrating Victory

ESPN – Georgia State coach Ron Hunter fears he may have ruptured his Achilles tendon while celebrating the Panthers’ Sun Belt Conference tournament championship.
Hunter injured his left leg during the celebration after Georgia State’s 38-36 win over Georgia Southern on Sunday and had to be helped off the court.
Hunter was hugging his son R.J. Hunter, who made the deciding free throws with 21.6 seconds left, and jumping up and down when he suffered the injury.
