BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — In a proactive effort to strengthen community preparedness and resilience, Brevard County Emergency Management is seeking to expand its network of disaster response and recovery partners.

The agency is calling on public service organizations throughout the county to participate in a special outreach day scheduled for Wednesday, July 16.

Recognizing that many local groups play vital roles during times of crisis, officials say they often aren’t aware of all the valuable organizations already making a difference.

This new initiative is designed to connect with organizations not currently partnered with Emergency Management, particularly those that provide services supporting disaster response or recovery, but are not vendors.

“Our community always pulls together during disasters, but there are still many groups out there doing incredible work that we haven’t had the chance to collaborate with,” said officials with Emergency Management. “We’re eager to change that.”

Interested organizations are encouraged to request a meeting and begin the conversation about joining the County’s trusted network of emergency partners. This outreach day marks an opportunity for new connections, stronger coordination, and a more resilient Brevard County.

To schedule a meeting, contact Emergency Management by calling 321-637-6670 or emailing BrevardEOC@BrevardFL.gov.
