BOB FREEMAN’S WEEKEND SURF REPORT FOR MAY 29-31

By  //  May 30, 2015

Waves are looking mostly unrideable this morning. Late-morning's lower tide could help make the small waves more rideable by then. Surfers seeking an early morning surf session may want to focus on Cocoa Beach's northernmost beaches for a longboardable wave.
Cocoa Beach ocean temperatures now average 78 degrees.

SURF REPORT FOR MAY 29 -31

Bob Freeman has been surfing Brevard's waves since 1966.

FRIDAY: The surf this Friday morning is running in the chest-high range with very bumpy conditions again from a strong onshore wind.

SATURDAY: Saturday’s surf will run in the chest-high range. Lighter onshore winds could improve surface conditions.

SUNDAY: I expect Sunday’s surf to remain in the mostly chest-high range with semi-bumpy conditions from a lighter onshore wind.

Ocean water temperatures now average 81 degrees. Protect yourself from skin damage by reapplying sunscreen and wearing a rashguard.
