Yefri Perez led off the bottom of the first inning with a double down the left field line against Brevard County starter Zach Hirsch. Two batters later, Austin Dean drove home Perez with an RBI single to center field. After an Avery Romero single, Anderson smacked a three-run home run over the left field wall. It was his ninth homer of the season.

The Manatees plated a pair of runs in the sixth. With one out, Paul Eshleman reached on a fielding error by right fielder Austin Dean. Steven Halcomb then singled to left field.
With two men on, Angel Ortega doubled on a liner to left. Eshleman scored to put the Manatees on the board. After C.J. Robinson replaced starter Chipper Smith, Omar Garcia singled to the opposite field and scored Halcomb.
After Garcia was caught stealing, Chris McFarland lined out to right to end the threat.
