BOB FREEMAN’S WEEKEND SURF REPORT

By  //  September 13, 2015

Waves are looking mostly unrideable this morning. Late-morning's lower tide could help make the small waves more rideable by then. Surfers seeking an early morning surf session may want to focus on Cocoa Beach's northernmost beaches for a longboardable wave.
Surf this Sunday morning is running in the knee- to thigh-high range with semi-clean conditions from an early southwesterly wind.

SURF REPORT FOR SEPTEMBER 13-18

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Good Morning, Surfers!

SUNDAY: Surf this Sunday morning is running in the knee- to thigh-high range with semi-clean conditions from an early southwesterly wind. Longboarders looking for an early morning surf session should explore the flatter bottoms along Cocoa Beach and southward to Patrick Air Force Base.

Mid-Week: There is hope on the horizon this coming week for wave starved shortboarders. Watch for waves in the waist-high range with sets approaching chest-high  as a windswell-groundswell mix approaches our surf zones for several days mid-week.

Cocoa Beach ocean temperatures now average 78 degrees.
