On Saturday, Oct. 3, select space shuttle Atlantis astronauts will gather at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex to mark the 30th anniversary of the orbiter’s first launch, Oct. 3, 1985 – and you’re invited to join in the celebration.

BREVARD COUNTY • KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLORIDA – On Saturday, Oct. 3, select space shuttle Atlantis astronauts will gather at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex to mark the 30th anniversary of the orbiter’s first launch, Oct. 3, 1985 – and you’re invited to join in the celebration.

Throughout the day, enjoy meet-and-greet sessions and signing opportunities with Atlantis astronauts including Jerry Ross, Mike McCulley, Bo Bobko, Charlie Walker and Bob Springer.

You’ll receive a free commemorative black and white photograph of Atlantis that’s ideal for collecting astronaut autographs.

With a breathtaking view of the orbiter just a few feet away, you’ll get to view the “Reflections of Atlantis” video tribute featuring highlights of her 33 successful missions.

And, you’ll hear heartwarming, engaging, and often humorous stories from the Atlantis astronauts themselves as they present a live, in-person version of the popular video series “Tell Me A Story.
