Port Canaveral Celebrates With Morton Salt On New Expansion Plans

BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – On October 27, Port Canaveral celebrated with Morton Salt on their expansion plans at a ceremony near their Canaveral plant.
The company is adding more than 45,000-square-feet to its existing footprint dedicated to the production and warehousing of food grade sea salt and food grade solar salt.
With a more than 25-year-long partnership, Morton Salt will break ground on its Port Canaveral expansion later this summer, introducing 10 food-grade products with production expected to begin by mid-2016.

Their consumer products include table and specialty salts, water softening products and ice melters.
