EFSC Titan Women Drop Second Straight Game, Fall To Gulf Coast State 103-63

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Gulf Coast State handed Eastern Florida a 103-63 women’s basketball defeat on Saturday in Panama City.
Eastern Florida dropped its second straight game to fall to 5-3. Gulf Coast improved to 9-0.
Nationally fifth-ranked and state No. 1-ranked Gulf Coast led 16-10 after the first quarter and 52-24 at halftime.
Sophomore Nene Johnson led Eastern Florida with 19 points. Classmate Paola Vasquez added 13.
The Titans hit the road again on Wednesday traveling to Ocala for a 5:30 p.m. re-match with the College of Central Florida. They then host defending national champion Chipola College at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4 and Gulf Coast State at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5.
The College of Central Florida also plays Gulf Coast and Chipola at 5 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday.
