5th Annual Florida Key Lime Pie Festival Set For January 16 At Port Canaveral

BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – Kicking off on Saturday, January 16, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the 5th Annual Florida Key Lime Pie Company’s Florida Key Lime Pie Festival will regale lime lovers of all ages with many forms of its classic key lime pie – in a cup, in a coconut, by the slice and as a whole pie.
Among the events making use of Florida’s famed citrus fruit are a Miss Florida Key Lime Pie contest, a key lime pie–eating contest, and a key lime pie–flavored martini and margarita challenge.
With even more Key Lime tents this year, festival-goers will also find an array of local vendors and plenty of live music and entertainment at the marketplace and promenade.
The crumbly crust and, of course, the tart sweetness of the citrus: there’s no other treat quite like the key lime pie, made by the The Florida Key Lime Pie Company.
The Florida Key Lime Pie Festival celebrates the key ingredient and Florida’s favorite citrus, the key lime, with family-fun activities including a pie-eating contest, a hot-sauce tasting, culinary demonstrations, and more.
This year’s event will feature everything to do with the Sunshine State’s favorite citrus, the “Florida Key Lime”.he Florida Key Lime Pie Company will be featuring an array of the company’s delicious Real Florida Key Lime Pie to include their ever popular “Key Lime Pie in a Cup,” “Key Lime Pie in a Coconut,” as well as “Key Lime Pie by the Slice.”
The Florida Key Lime Pie Company will also be hosting a contest for a 2016 “Miss Florida Key Lime Pie” as well as the company’s ever popular “Florida Key Lime Pie Eating Contest” and The Best of Florida’s Bartenders “Key Lime Pie Martini” and “Key Lime Pie Margarita” challenge.
