BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Just a week ago we posted on our FaceBook Page that “Bogey” had been in our Animal Care Center since July and was desperately looking for a forever home and this week his dreams came true when he was officially adopted by the Green family.

The Green family originally took “Bogey” home for a tryout as part of our Pajama Pup Program that allows perspective adopters to take the pet home to make sure it is a good fit for them and the pet.

After having the opportunity to spend some quality time with “Bogey” they returned to our South Animal Care Center today and officially made “Bogey” part of their family.

Please join me in thanking the Green family for giving “Bogey” a forever home and in congratulating “Bogey” for getting the best Christmas Gift ever.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Practically every week our agency asks our community to help us find a fugitive or to help us solve a crime by identifying the perpetrator through video or photograph.

Almost each and every time our citizens come through and help us keep the community safe.

Well tonight I’m personally asking you to come through once again for us and help find this incredible dog a forever home as he has been in our Animal Care Center since July 20th, 2015. While there are numerous other animals in our Care Centers that have extended stays, this little guy has done a remarkable job at holding it together and patiently waiting for someone, anyone to give him a loving and caring home.

His name is “Bogey” and he is described by our volunteers and staff as a fun and happy dog who is good on a leash, is neutered, and is current on all his vaccinations. He was brought to our North Animal Care Center as a stray back in July and is waiting for his forever home.

So tonight, I am asking our citizens to dig deep in their hearts and find “Bogey” a forever home. I am asking our citizens to exhibit the Christmas spirit and bring “Bogey” home as a Christmas gift for their spouse, family, or if for no other reason just for him so he can wake up Christmas morning knowing he is home at last.
