Fatal Crash Victim Identified In Tuesday Morning’s Deadly Crash With A Utility Pole

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a vehicle versus pedestrian fatality which occurred just before 2 a.m. Wednesday morning at the intersection N. Atlantic and Fillmore Avenue in Cape Canaveral.
On Tuesday, the Melbourne Police Department responded to a deadly vehicle crash at around 10:40 a.m. on 3992 S. Babcock St. in Melbourne.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – On Tuesday, the Melbourne Police Department responded to a deadly vehicle crash at around 10:40 a.m. on 3992 S. Babcock St. in Melbourne, according to Sgt. Brian Hart of the Melbourne Police Department.

The victim was identified as 57-year-old Raymond Wile Keltz, of Palm Bay.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was declared dead upon arrival.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a single vehicle crash that had struck a concrete utility pole, according to Sgt. Hart.

The Melbourne Police Department is currently investigating this incident.
