Melbourne Woman Accuses Husband of Affair, Shoots Him In ‘Family Jewels’

Woman Charged With 3 Felonies

BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – Melbourne police arrested a 60-year-old Melbourne woman by the name of Victoria Reid Wednesday night in Rockledge for shooting her husband in the ‘family jewels’ who she accused of having an affair.
The woman was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault domestic violence, false imprisonment domestic violence and shooting into an occupied dwelling.
According to authorities, the woman pointed the gun at her husband and made him to sit down to discuss his supposed affair.
She began taunting him, threatening to shoot him in the head or chest, maim him and threatened to give him PTSD, according to the report.
The suspect fired a shot into his leg, the bullet then ricocheted upward into his testicles.
The woman’s bond is set at $35,000.
The man’s condition is not known at this time.
