BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Friday, April 1 was a historic day as the Titusville Fire Department held their Ribbon Cutting for the new Fire Training Facility.
After a blessing by the Department Chaplain, Pastor John Wright, the ribbon was cut and then began a series of live demonstrations: rappelling, simulated structure fire response with engine and truck company operations, and a trapped firefighter who had to perform a “bailout” using a personal escape system to lower himself to the ground.
Once the smoke cleared, those in attendance were able to tour the facility and ask questions.
The Titusville Fire Department extended their thanks all those who came out and supported this historic occasion.
