CORAL GABLES, FLORIDA (WESH) – A South Florida dog went on quite a journey Monday.
The 14-year-old black lab, named Fergie, swam some nine miles between Coral Gables and Biscayne Bay.
Fergie’s owner said the dog likely had separation anxiety and entered the water near their home in hopes of finding her owner.
