Florida Highway Patrol Identifies Driver of SUV In Fatal I-95 Crash In Titusville

SINGLE VEHICLE CRASH

Northbound I-95 has been shut down south of the Garden Street exit in Titusville due to a fatal vehicle crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Latorya Brown, 34, of Leesburg was traveling Sunday at 6:30 p.m. in a 2006 Dodge Durango SUV north on 1-95 in the area of the 220 mile marker and was unable to maintain control of the vehicle, which contained 11 occupants.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Brown traveled to the southbound grass shoulder and began to overturn.

Four occupants were ejected from the SUV, three of which were pronounced dead on the scene, and a male toddler was thrown over a 30 foot barrier wall and located by first responders.

According to FHP, the toddler was transported to Arnold Palmer Hospital and is currently stable. All the other occupants were transported to local hospitals.

Brown was taken to Wuesthoff Medical Center with minor injuries.

This is an on going investigation and information and the identities of the crash victims are still forth coming.
