ABOVE VIDEO: Former Melbourne Central Catholic and University of Miami wide receiver Rashawn Scott has signed with the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent.
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Former Melbourne Central Catholic and University of Miami wide receiver Rashawn Scott has signed with the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent.
Scott, who is is 6-feet-2 inches tall and weighs 203 pounds, started last season at the University of Miami, collecting 52 catches for 695 yards (13.2 yards per catch) and five touchdowns as a redshirt senior.
He ran 4.54 at the Hurricanes’ Pro Day with a 32 1/2-inch vertical and 9-foot-8 inch broad jump in Indy. He’s a favorite of Rookie Scouting Portfolio’s Matt Waldman for his ability to win against coverage and intelligent route running.
