BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — Florida Tech rising sophomore Tereza Sedlakova will shed the Crimson and Gray this summer, and instead don her nation’s colors as a member of the Slovakian U20 Women’s Basketball National Team.
A contributor off the bench during much of the 2015-16 season, the Pezinok, Slovakia product saw action in 25 games, including six starts, averaging 3.9 points and 2.2 rebounds per game.
She broke out onto the scene during the middle of her rookie campaign with three straight double-digit scoring performances.
From Jan. 9-20, against Sunshine State Conference foes Palm Beach Atlantic, Rollins and Barry, Sedlakova tallied 15, 11 and 12 points while averaging five boards per game.
This marks the fourth year in a row that Sedlakova will represent her country on the hardwood, as she was also a member of the U16, U17 and U18 Slovakian national teams that competed in the European and World Championships.

Currently, the Slovaks are participating in the Prague Open from June 20-25 with three friendly games against Japan, Canada and Czech Republic.
On July 1, the team then travels to Hungary to face the Hungarian U20 National Team in two exhibition contests over three days.
The two games against Hungary will be the final tune ups for the Slovaks as they then embark for Portugal one week later to compete in the 2016 European U20 Championships on July 9-16 in the city of Matosinhos.
Slotted in Group D, the Slovakian National Team opens the tournament against Belgium on Saturday, July 9.
