Titusville Police Arrest Marquis Daquon Cook, 18, In Shooting Death of Greg Kite

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – An arrest has been made in the shooting death of 44-year-old Greg Kite of Titusville early Saturday morning.
The Titusville police reported that Marquis Daquon Cook, 18, of 3855 Essex Street in Titusville was taken into custody late Sunday after officers conducted a traffic stop on a car in which they believed he was a passenger.
He was taken into custody without incident.
Detectives, with assistance from the Brevard County GAMEOVER task force, have been actively seeking Cook since he fled the scene of a shooting at his home early Saturday about 2 a.m.
According to the Titusville police, King was shot at his home during a disturbance between family members, and Cook was quickly identified as the shooter. An Arrest Warrant was obtained later in the day.
Cook is being booked into the Brevard County Jail on the Arrest Warrant for Second Degree Murder.
