BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Friday Night Locker Room’s Orville Susong and Steve Wilson are set to broadcast one of the most highly anticipated games in Brevard County Friday night.
Cocoa Tigers (2-1) travel down the road to take on the Viera Hawks (3-1) and it’s a matchup Viera has longed for since last year’s touchdown victory by Cocoa in Tiger Stadium.
The Hawks were so close to pulling off a major upset last year. Viera came within 7-points of Cocoa last year, losing a thriller 49-42.
The Tigers haven’t lost to a Brevard County team since Coach Jeff McLean’s 2008 Merritt Island Mustangs successfully completed a two-point conversion late in the game to defeat the Tigers 15-14.
The Hawks have the Tigers at home this time, and the Hawks defense has played “lights out” this season.
On the other side, the Cocoa Tigers are led by All-American QB, and USF commit Bruce Judson. With an outstanding trio of running backs behind Judson in Timmy Pratt, Lasedrick King and Jay Hawkins, the Tigers can score multiple ways. The speed of the Tigers defense will be a key side of the ball to watch too.

Alan Zlotorzinksi is set to bring you one of the best historical rivalries in the county Friday night, Astronaut (2-3) vs Titusville (1-3). The Terriers broke into the win column last week thanks in large part to three touchdown passes by Quarterback OC Brothers.
The War Eagles counter with a pretty good QB of their own in Trevor Susie. Astronaut won the “Battle of North Brevard” 40-0 last year. The Terriers have the War Eagles at home this year.
