BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Sean O’Reilly continues to make a big impact in Central Florida when it comes to great food, and supporting local sports.
O’Reilly is the owner-operator of Beef ‘O’Brady’s, located at 2301 State Road 524 in the Cocoa Commons Publix Shopping Center.
If you’re not sure who O’Reilly is, all you have to do is go to a Cocoa Tigers football game, and he’s the guy with the “crazy shorts” on the sideline working as the ball boy carrying footballs for the officials.
O’Reilly was born and raised on Long Island, NY and began working in the restaurant business when he was only 15 years old.
After graduation, he moved away to college, but continued working in the business. He liked what he saw, and decided to make a career of it and has now been in the food service business for more than 30 years.
Beef ‘O’ Brady’s is known for its outstanding food and service, but O’Reilly has taken his Beef’s in Cocoa even a step further.

O’Reilly is a “people person,” and says that he has met some of his best friends through his work. Beef ‘O’ Brady’s is not your typical sports bar/restaurant. They go the extra mile bonding, not only with the local schools, but also the county, in general.
Being located in Cocoa, Beef O’Brady’s is a big supporter of the Cocoa Tigers, and it’s not unusual to find a full house at Beef’s after a Tigers sporting event.

Orville Susong, a partner with the Friday Night Locker Room (FNLR) radio crew, says of O’Reilly, “he does more good in the community than people realize.
“He has sponsored community nights at Space Coast Stadium, worked with the Brevard School Foundation, sponsored little leagues, worked with elementary schools, supported charity golf tournaments, and much more.”
O’Reilly has also been a sponsor of the “Friday Night Locker Room” for a number of years.
Earlier this year, Beef O’Brady’s, FNLR and Space Coast Daily worked together, and had a new scoreboard sign installed at the Cocoa High School baseball field.
After that successful venture, O’Reilly decided to once again partner with FNLR and Space Coast Daily.
This time, O’Reilly created what he calls the “Coaches Corner” at Beef’s, which is sponsored by FNLR and Space Coast Daily. He has a computer hooked up to two TVs so that coaches can come in, put in game film, actually work…all while eating the best tasting food in Brevard County.
“Why not give them a spot that is their own, where they can work?” said O’Reilly.
O’Reilly has instituted specials throughout the week for patrons at Beef ‘O’ Brady’s. On Tuesday’s, kids eat free from 4 p.m. to closing. Thursday night is trivia night. Beef’s also runs specials throughout the weekday. Beef ‘O’ Brady’s currently has 45 TV’s, and 8 of their 9 booths have TV’s.
