WATCH REPLAY: Brevard County Commission Holds Meeting in Viera on Tuesday
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Board of County Commissioners will hold its final public hearing on the fiscal year 2026–27 budget and property tax rates on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
Commissioners are scheduled to hear public comment before considering resolutions that would establish the county’s final millage rates and adopt its operating and capital budget.
The agenda also includes final tax rates and budgets for dependent special districts, as well as an annual mosquito control budget item.
No final votes were listed in the county’s published meeting record as of Tuesday.
The hearing will take place in the Commission Chambers, Building C, at 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way in Viera.
Residents who wish to speak on an agenda item should fill out a speaker card before commissioners consider that item. Speakers generally have three minutes, though the chair may adjust the time limit.
