Titusville Police Department Seeks Public’s Help Identifying Burglary Suspect

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police are calling on citizens to help them catch a burglary suspect after police responded to a report of a burglary at a business in downtown Titusville early Wednesday morning at around 8:45 a.m, according to Amy Matthews of the Titusville Police Department.

The preliminary investigation has revealed that two businesses, Playalinda Brewing Company and Bar IX, located at 305 and 317 South Washington Avenue respectively, were burglarized by the same suspect.

Surveillance footage shows at around 1:30 a.m., the suspect shattered the rear employee entrance door of Playalinda Brewing Company, made entry into the building and committed a theft from the inside of the business.

“The suspect exited the brewery, walked a short distance to Bar IX and smashed a window pane in the rear entrance door to that business. The suspect made entry into Bar IX and committed a theft from that business as well,” said Matthews.
