BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – It’s cold out, especially for Florida standards as early Sunday morning temperatures were 30 to almost 40 degrees colder than this time yesterday morning.

Highs today along the Space Coast will be in the low 50s to low 60s under sunny skies.

The National Weather Service in Melbourne issued freeze warnings and wind chill advisories for the early morning hours, and Brevard County will warming up throughout the day.

A gale warnings is in effect Sunday along the Brevard County coast, with wind gusts predicted to be 20 miles per hour and seas will at 8-11 feet.

The National Weather Service predicts late Sunday night-early Monday morning temperatures along the Space Coast will drop into the upper 40s.

Highs for next week will normalize into the upper 70s.
