BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – Women have special healthcare needs, and some pelvic and urological conditions can be hard to diagnose or resolve.

Dr. Marja Sprock founded Central Florida UroGynecology to exclusively focus on urogynecologic and complex gynecologic problems.

The state-of-the-art center is conveniently located in Rockledge At 101 Eyster Boulevard and U.S. 1.

“Many women suffer with urinary, fecal or vaginal prolapse problems,” said Dr. Sprock. “They always think they are the only one. I can make people feel a lot better – and they get their self-confidence back.”

Dr. Sprock is among the few female fellowship-trained urogynecologists in the United States. A board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, she has plenty of knowledge to back any diagnosis, as she amassed three decades of experience as a physician.

Born in the Dutch city of The Hague, Sprock chose the gynecological field to help women who sometimes suffer silently with healthcare issues.

“For many women, it is still very difficult to talk about some of these problems. I want our patients to feel comfortable and respected,” said Dr. Sprock.

Dr. Sprock completed her residency in obstetrics/gynecology and her fellowship in urogynecology at Detroit’s Henry Ford Hospital, one of the finest teaching hospitals in the nation.

She spent more than a decade at the hospital, and became the assistant program director of the OB/GYN Residency Program.

LASER THERAPY

A dual-board certified physician, Dr. Sprock has been instrumental in the development of several grafts for surgical prolapse repair. In addition, she helped develop surgical procedures and slings for incontinence.

Her practice provides care specifically for adult women. It covers the full spectrum of urinary, fecal and gynecologic problems.

The practice treats urinary urgency, frequency and incontinence, fecal incontinence and vaginal, bladder, uterine and rectal prolapse. They also offer cosmetic gynecology for reshaping of the labia, vagina and perineum. She is very innovative with laser therapy for vaginal atrophy and other conditions.

Dr. Sprock also offers VanquishME, a non-invasive procedure. Since it uses radiofrequency, it can tackle even large fat layers independent of skin color. It can also target large abdomen and thigh areas.

“All of our procedures are not only highly effective, but also affordable for our patients,” said Dr. Sprock.
