SUV Hits Motorcycle Head On In Titusville Early Saturday, Victims Airlifted To Local Hospitals

Titusville police officers responded to a sport utility vehicle vs. motorcycle traffic crash at the intersection of Park Avenue and Golfview Drive Saturday at about 3:15 a.m.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville police officers responded to a sport utility vehicle vs. motorcycle crash at the intersection of Park Avenue and Golfview Drive Saturday at about 3:15 a.m.

According to Titusville Police Department Public Information Oficer Amy Matthews, the preliminary investigation has revealed that a 2013 Nissan SUV driven by Curtea Williams, 29, of Titusville was traveling northbound on Park Avenue.

“Williams veered into the southbound lane and struck motorcyclist Ronald James Bastine, 27, and passenger, Mariah Lorraine Brockman, 23, both of Cape Canaveral, head on,” said Matthews.

“The impact of the crash threw Bastine and Brockman off the 2001 Suzuki motorcycle they were riding.”

According to Matthews, Bastine sustained serious injuries and Brockman’s injuries are unknown at this time. They were airlifted to local hospitals.

The driver of the SUV and her passenger did not sustain any injuries.

This is an ongoing active traffic crash investigation being conducted by the Titusville Police Department.
