BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – In celebration of National Hamburger Day on Sunday May 28, Carnival Cruise Line has invited Space Coast Daily to attend a fun burger-making workshop at Guy’s Burger Joint aboard the Carnival Cruise ship, Liberty, docked at Port Canaveral.
The reason for the invite is that we will have the opportunity to don one of Guy’s Burger Joints hats and get behind the grill where Space Coast Daily’s Alan Zlotorzynski will get first-hand experience creating the eatery’s mouth-watering burgers, which include “The Ringer” topped with barbecue sauce and an onion ring and “Chilius Maximus” smothered with homemade chili.
Available on 14 Carnival ships, Guy’s Burger Joint is a popular casual poolside eatery, with more than 1,000 burgers served per ship per day.
Today’s event aboard Carnival Liberty will also include the unveiling of what is believed to be the cruise industry’s largest hamburger – a massive sandwich created by Carnival Liberty’s talented culinary artists.
Space Coast Daily will show it all to you on Space Coast Daily TV starting sometime after 9:30 a.m.
