BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – “Wheel of Fugitive” target, Corey Vest-Reinert had no intention of turning himself into authorities, but fortunately our Fugitive Unit and local citizens had other plans.

In less than an hour after last night’s “Wheel of Fugitive” episode was posted, an anonymous citizen sent us an incredible tip that helped our Fugitive Agents locate and arrest Vest-Reinert at an apartment complex in Titusville, FL.

The arrest occurred after Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Agents obtained consent to search from the apartment owner and subsequently found Vest-Reinert hiding in a closet because he was afraid to face his consequences like a man!

Vest-Reinert confessed to our Agents that he knew he was on the Wheel of Fugitive and actually watched it on Facebook. Vest-Reinert said he had no intentions of turning himself in so he decided to hide in the closet to avoid arrest.

Vest-Reinert was taken into custody without incident and was transported to the Brevard County Jail where he was detained on the active warrant for Felony Failure To Appear For Early Resolution Reference Possession Of Cocaine.

This is another great example of teamwork between Law Enforcement and our citizens who have partnered together to keep our community safe!
