Health First Opens Bone Wellness Center, Offers Comprehensive Evaluation Program

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Health First announced the opening of the Bone Wellness Center, located at 205 E. NASA Boulevard in Melbourne.
The Bone Wellness Center offers a comprehensive program to evaluate, educate and support patients in treatment decisions related to low bone mass, osteoporosis and related fractures.
This includes appointment sessions dedicated to teaching patients about basic bone concepts, nutrition and bone-strengthening exercises to maintain mass and prevent future fractures.
The Bone Wellness Center offers multi-disciplinary osteoporosis care with specially trained team members.
Under the supervision of a physician, the nurse practitioner/fracture liaison and physical therapist assess patients in a compassionate and supportive approach.
Founded in 1995, Health First is Brevard County’s not-for-profit, community healthcare system. The fully Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) includes health insurance plans, hospitals, a multi-specialty medical group, and outpatient and wellness services.
