Palm Bay Police Arrest Angela Hawathrone After Domestic Shooting, Victim in Stable Condition

Hawathrone held without bail, investigation ongoing

Early this morning, Palm Bay Police arrested Angela Marie Hawathrone and charged the 45-year old women with Aggravated Battery after a shooting incident in the 600 block of Almansa st. N.E. in Palm Bay.

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA — Palm Bay Police Officers arrested Angela Marie Hawathrone, 45, and charged her with Aggravated Battery after a domestic shooting incident in the 600 block of Almansa Street NE in Palm Bay.

According to Palm Bay Police Lt. Steve Bland, at approximately 2:30 a.m. Wednesday officers responded to a domestic disturbance at 607 Almansa Street NE.

“Upon arrival, police located a male victim in the residence with a single gun shot wound,” said Lt Bland.

“The victim was treated by Palm Bay Fire Rescue and transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center and remains in stable condition.”

Lt. Bland said Hawathrone was arrested for Aggravated Battery and later transferred to the Brevard County Jail where she is being held with no bond.

The investigation is still on going and detectives will be conducting additional interviews to determine what lead up to the shooting.
