Sheriff Wayne Ivey and Wife Susan Meet Citizens as ‘Celebrity Chefs’ In Titusville

Last Saturday night the food at Chef Larry’s in Titusville had a little different flair to it, as Susan and I got the opportunity to be “Celebrity Chefs” and to interact with everyone who came out to enjoy the incredible food and a great time.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – On Saturday night the food at Chef Larry’s in Titusville had a little different flair to it, as Susan and I got the opportunity to be “Celebrity Chefs” and to interact with everyone who came out to enjoy the incredible food and a great time.

As “Celebrity Chefs,” Susan and I got to create and help prepare the menu for the evening’s “Chefs Special” which was a mixture of our preferences with Susan being a Vegetarian and me being a Meatatarian.

Our special was a Backyard Grilled Chicken with a Mango Sauce Drizzle served with Baked Potato filled with Sour Cream, Green Beans, a Wedge Salad with Crumbled Bacon and Buttermilk Dressing and of course Chef Larry’s incredible homemade Biscuits.

The idea to have “Celebrity Chefs” was a concept created by Chef Larry Berkowitz who wanted to give citizens a chance to interact with their Elected Officials and Community Leaders in a unique format outside of their daily jobs and routines.

Please join me in thanking Chef Larry for hosting this fun-filled evening, the many citizens who came out to join us for dinner, and of course my beautiful wife Susan Ann for always being willing to partner with me to support our community.

The evening event provided a great opportunity to meet and laugh with everyone who came out to share some great food and their own life experiences.

Rumor has it, that coming up as “Celebrity Chefs” are our very own Tax Collector, Lisa Cullen and then Titusville Police Chief John Lau. Additionally, after such an amazing night, Chef Larry has asked Chef Susan Ivey to return as a “Celebrity Chef” for a “Vegetarian Night” in the near future.

Oddly enough though, Chef Larry did not extend an invitation for me to return as a “Celebrity Chef” but did say I was welcome to come back to dine at any time.
