SPACE COAST DAILY TV: “On the Town” highlights Prestige Title of Brevard’s annual year-end-beginning party to thank their friends and clients for 10 successful years in business. Alan Zlotorzynzki reports from the Eau Gallie Yacht Club.
BREVRAD COUNTY • PALM SHORES, FLORIDA – Last August marked 10 years in business for Prestige Title of Brevard, located in Palm Shores, Florida. The firm opened their doors in 2007 in a declining market, but visionaries Tiffany Fortenberry, Shawn Fortenberry and Tonya Bader saw an opportunity while others saw disaster.
Even though the market conditions may have been against them it was time to do what they had been dreaming of for years and open up a title company to help customers achieve the American dream.
Shortly after opening their doors and taking advantage of a then-declining market, they saw the need to assist customers with their short sale transactions in which they worked alongside the realtors and homeowners to get approval from the current mortgage lender to accept “less than owed” on the property.
Family Friendly Atmosphere
Finding their niche, Prestige Title paved the way that would soon lead them out of a declining market and into future growth and many years of success.
As the years passed, what started as growing business relationships with real estate professionals later turned into lifelong friendships. This holds true not only for their customers but with their employees as well.
“We never want to grow too large and lose sight of those things that are most important to us, like our family-friendly atmosphere,” said Bader.
Starting the business with just three people, 10 years later the Prestige Title team now consists of 13 additional members.
“We strive to maintain an office culture that remains both positive and fun where our employees love what they do, serve with excellence, and care for themselves, their teammates, and the customer,” said Fortenberry.
“We teach them, challenge them, encourage them, and most of all have fun with them. Each one of our associates make up the foundation of Prestige Title, and is the very reason we can celebrate 10 years of greatness.”
Growing, Professional Staff
Prestige Title currently employs six licensed title agents, three pre-closing processors, a post-closer, office administrator, business development director and a receptionist, or as they like to call her, the “Director of First Impressions.”
Handling both residential and commercial transactions, and backed by three of the industry’s largest title insurance underwriting companies, Prestige Title has the experience and knowledge to get the job done.
Owners, Tiffany, Shawn and Tonya collectively agree that each employee of Prestige Title is an essential piece to the puzzle of the success of their company.
“Our industry can be very demanding and stressful and we are grateful for all the hard work and dedication that our employees put forth on a daily basis,” said Bader.

Success Due to Community Support
In celebration of their 10-year anniversary last August, owners Tiffany, Tonya, and Shawn treated the Prestige Title family to a 3-day Bahamas cruise, courtesy of the company. It was a time for the company and their families to celebrate their success together outside of work and in the company of not only their work-family but their personal families as well.
“We really are a close-knit team. We all get along and enjoy each other’s company,” said Tina Siau, who is a pre-closing processor for the company. “It’s always a fun time when we are all together and get to loosen up outside of work.”
In September, the company hosted a “Thank you Celebration BBQ Bash” for the community and all their business partners as a way to show their gratitude for their continued support over the years.
“Our business also extends far beyond the walls of our building,” said Tiffany.
“The success of our company wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for the support of our community and the business professionals we’ve gained relationships with.”
More than 150 attendees enjoyed bounce houses, water slides, tiki bar, live music, a photo booth, great BBQ catered by the owner Shawn Fortenberry himself, and many donated raffle prizes by local vendors.
“Seeing the turn out that day was very overwhelming and heart-warming,” said Bader. “We have so many loyal customers, friends, family, and employees behind us who help contribute to Prestige Title’s success. We are so blessed for each and every one of them.”
Making People Feel Good
To build on their success, the company recently hired a business development director, added an industry-leading closing software program and are revamping their website at PrestigeClosings.com to include more tools, resources and education for their customers.
“At the end of the day, our goal is to be a service company that sells title insurance,” said Tiffany. “One of our favorite quotes in the office is ‘People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did but people will never forget how you made them feel.’”
