TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA – Florida Senate Panel has rejected a Democrat amendment that would ban semi-automatic rifles on Monday.

Many gun control activists were inside the capitol and did not receive the message well.

Once the amendment was rejected , the activists yelled “shame” and “vote them out.”

The Senate Rules Committee voted down the ban 7-6.

Should the semi-automatic rifle ban amendment been approved, it would have been added on the gun bills and introduced on the floor of the State Capitol in Tallahassee.
