BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office co-hosted the “Buckaroo Ball” Saturday evening at the Wadsworth Pavilion in Rockledge to benefit Harmony Farms.

Harmony Farms is a not-for-profit, volunteer-based organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for disabled individuals through interactions with horses. They provide therapeutic riding and operate Horses & Veterans in Harmony, a program for veterans troubled by PTSD.

Harmony Farms is the only alternative therapy for persons with disabilities that address physical, mental and emotional needs, and I could not be more proud to have our team partner with this incredible organization.

The “Buckaroo Ball” was an amazing night of great food, games, dancing, and a Silent Auction, but the highlight of the evening for me, was announcing the Wild West Horse Race where local celebrities and volunteers ride “Stick Horses” in a Horse Race to assist the fundraiser.

I would like to personally thank the BCSO Mounted Posse for assisting with the event, our Ag Marine Unit for cooking all the food, Pam Rogan who is the heart of Harmony Farms for inviting us to be part of such a great event and the many volunteers and sponsors who helped make the Buckaroo Ball possible.
