Dr. Swain’s seminar, which will be held 12 noon to 1 p.m, will discuss how pacemakers are implanted in the chest to regulate heartbeat and thus to reduce the risk of cardiac arrest.

Dr. Swain is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. He received his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Swain completed an internal medicine residency at Western Pennsylvania Hospital, where he also completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease.
