Friends of Catherine Schweinsberg Rood Central Brevard Library To Host Spring Book Sale

Spring Book Sale April 12-15

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Friends of the Central Brevard Library will host its Spring Book Sale April 12-15 at the Catherine Schweinsberg Rood Central Library, located at 308 Forrest Avenue in Cocoa.

Sale items will include CDs, DVDs and thousands of books.

Prices range from $1 for paperbacks to $2 for hardcover books in much of the inventory, with coffee-table books, mint-condition books and sets going for a bit more.

CDs are generally priced at $1, and DVDs at $2. Audio Tapes are $5.

The event starts with a Thursday, April 12, members-only pre-sale from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The general public can enter for $5, which includes membership in the Friends of the Library; The sale also runs Friday, April 13, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Saturday, April 14, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Sunday, April 15, from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. General Admission is free.

The Friends of the Library, a support organization for the Catherine Schweinsberg Rood Central Brevard Library, provides almost 20 percent of the library’s materials budget each year and raises its funds primarily through its bi-annual sales of donated books, CDs and DVDs.
