By Space Coast Daily // June 29, 2018
Bugs can be a real nuisance if they invade your residence. Once they invade your house, they can spread diseases and cause considerate damage to your furniture and other features of your home.
Although you may be aware that leaving food and garbage scattered on the floor are among the significant ways to attract pests into your home, you may be astonished by these three reasons shared by a mosquito extermination company that encourage bugs to invade your house.
Untidy areas of your home both outdoors and indoors generally attract mosquitoes and other bugs inside. Whether it is a thick bush, old newspapers, piles of toys, cinderblocks, books, and others can be a significant and natural habitat for most bugs. Their host like rats love making nests in dark and cluttered spaces while small insects like mosquitoes, spiders, and cockroaches often take shelter in this clutter.
In fact, these cluttered areas could be the best spots in noticing bug signs and symptoms in your house. The best way of a getting rid of these cluttered areas is by storing the unused items in bags or well-sealed boxes. Besides, you should always keep your house tidy both indoors and outdoors.
Just like human beings, insects also require water to survive. In most cases, these pests get their water from the foods they take, most of them get their moisture from the environment. If you have faucets, leaky sink taps or areas in your yard that pools water, you are offering the insects a perfect breeding ground.
To keep any pests from your house, always repair any leaks and fill those sections that are prone to puddles. In addition to that, avoid disposing of broken pieces of buckets, bowls and other containers that hold some water. Furthermore, avoid leaving pet water or food bowls outside your house, but instead always keep them inside after use.
Dirty Kitchen Appliances
Cockroaches go out to look for food and water, so it is very likely that you will never see them if you do not leave anything to eat outside the cupboard. If that does not solve the problem, you can make a trap. Get an empty plastic bottle, cut it, and arrange it as shown in the image above to look like a funnel. Fasten it with tape. Pour some water and place this trap where cockroaches appear regularly.
They can enter, but not leave. This artifact will capture the insects one by one, so this method will not end the entire nest. It is a fact that the tidiness of your house is an excellent determining factor that attracts bugs in your home. In most cases, kitchen appliances such as microwaves and toaster often have food particles that are left behind after use.
These appliances attract pests into your kitchen and definitely into your entire home. The kitchen is a place where you prepare all your food, and the presence of bugs can pose a significant health risk to you and your family. They can spread harmful bacteria like Salmonella through their droppings and urine. It is crucial to clean all your appliances after use to avoid the invasion of these pests and bugs in your house.
