SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket Launch From Cape Canaveral Set For Tuesday, 80% Chance ‘Go’ For Launch

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX is set to launch their Falcon 9 rocket carrying the Merah Putih communications satellite from Cape Canaveral to Tuesday, August 7.

Launch window is slated to open at 1:19 a.m. ET.

The launch has been delayed from August 2 and August 4.

The satellite will provide C-band telecommunications services over Indonesia and India, replacing the aging Telkom 1 communications craft, according to SpaceFlight Now.

US Air Force weather forecast shows a 80-percent chance ‘go’ for launch early Tuesday morning.
